Keep the baby's head bare to let it breathe while breastfeeding. A cotton cap can be used to cover baby's head in winters. Feed your baby from both the breasts. This ensures that the baby is not in one fixed position the entire time during feeding. Breastfeeding increases the baby's body temperature as he is putting in an effort while suckling, and also because he is in close contact with another human body. Avoid making your baby wear too many layers of clothes or tight clothes.
