Dear Dr my baby boy had completed 9 months ..kindly guide for MMR Vaccination..what are side effects and what care to be taken

mmr stands for measles mumps and rubella.
you have to give three dosage of this vaccine at 9 months of age then at 15 months of age and at 5 years of age.
vitamin a is usually given along with mmr vaccine.
at present government covers only mr vaccine while in private mmr vaccine is available.
mr vaccine stands for measles and rubella.
at present in government set up only mr vaccine so mumps is not covered in mr vaccine.

There are no such side-effects if you do not get a particular vaccination done you can see that problem maybe sometime in the future but that is completely fine if you want to get it done now also you can check with your paediatric and you can get it done for your child
