Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhfsalation will be benecficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child3 years agoA. Hi dear mom Apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby, give steam inhalation to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and give warm tulsi ginger honey water 3-4 times in a day to get relief from cough and cold
