No it’s not advisable to use this medicine if you want to use it you’ll have to check with your doctor and it is not advisable to rub on the body also so please avoid that and if needed you check with your doctor before you proceed with giving it to the child

Not recommended On skin, the oils (like eucalyptus and menthol) can be too strong for infants and toddlers, and may cause skin irritation, breathing difficulty, or allergic reaction. Vicks BabyRub Specially made for babies above 3 months. Contains aloe vera, coconut oil, and mild fragrances (eucalyptus & lavender). Can be gently massaged on chest, back, neck, and soles of feet.use it in very small amount always patch test is important Do not apply near nose, eyes, or inside nostrils. Use saline nasal drops to clear blocked nose. Keep the baby hydrated. Use a humidifier or steam in the room(not directly on the baby). Gentle warm mustard oil or coconut oil massage on chest/feet (without strong herbs).
