can we delay pcv vaccine for 6 week, is it safe for baby

A. not for more than 1 month pcv which also stands for pneumococcal vaccine is a very important vaccine and is mandatory for all children. at present the vaccine is that much important that the indian government is giving it now free of cost in regular vaccination schedule. meet your doctor who will tell you the schedule for pneumococcal vaccine. even if it was missed previously you can go for it now also. this vaccine prevents infection due to pneumococcal bacteria which can affect the brain throat chest the child

A. You can postpone the vaccination mostly for 4 to 5 weeks not more than that so if you want to postpone it for six weeks you can but before you go ahead with that you please talk to your doctor about it and if they advise You to postpone it for one more week then you can go ahead with that
