MishreeMom of a 3 yr old girl2 years agoA. It is ok to nurse baby while having cough and cold infections, infact via feed antibodies generated in mother’s body to fight the infection passes on to baby. Infection can only pass through external factors, such as sneezing around the baby or touching or holding baby too close to nose or without washing hands. Mother can wear mask while nursing and maintain proper hygiene to avoid infection.
