Q.

can I take covishield vaccine..I m a breastfeeding mom...I m scared of taking it bcoz in breastfeeding mom there is no clinically trial of vaccine...plz dr kindly pour ur suggestion regarding this I m very tensed & confused...

A. yes dear you can have this vaccination done if your child has completed one year. mild fever can be there but not sure... you can take paracetamol twice a day after wards

A. Hey mom, I have taken covisheld last week.Nothing to worry....had small body pain.My baby continues to breasfeed and he was absolutely normal.After taking Vaccine, only after 2hr you can breastfeed. It is recommended now that all bf moms should take vaccine as antibodies will be transfered to baby throught breast milk.

A. earlier it was not clear by government but still some breastfeeding moms were take that vaccination.. but now on new guidelines has came on 19 may it has cleared that breastfeeding moms can take the vaccination if they do not have any medical history if so then do consult with your doctor regarding this once
