ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. no no no not atall Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good

I mean breast milk is very much important for first 6 months.as this helps to build the immunity. if u feel it getting low u can still try to increase by taking healthy meal ..still it's upto you.. but make sure u start weaning gradually and include the formula milk..so that baby get habitual of it .. I would suggest u Aptamil gold formula milk..as this is the best I found .it has HMOs and prebiotic which improve the gut health and support overall growth.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. Not now your child has to be 185 days complete before you introduce any kind of thing to the child the complimentary food and feeding can be started once your child is 85 days complete that it would not be advisable at all
