Yes small quantities is suggested occasionally for baby or elders as kesar (saffron) makes the body heat so use 1-2 strands weekly once in kheer or porridge. As the baby is 7 months old cerelac,porridge , kichdi ,fruit and vegetable purie/mash are suggested to feed.
