can i give water to my one and half months old don't baby

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. don't give, giving water early age leads to weight loss n water intoxicatiin, Breast milk has got lot of water ( 80 to 90% of water) which satisfies babys thirst.. tv

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Water should be given only after 6 months completion. Till then the baby should be either exclusively breastfed or formula fed only for better health, nutrition and hydration. Both breastfeed and formula feed will suffice hydration requirements.
