ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 weeks agoA. dear parent, you should not give water to your 5 and half months old baby. you can give water only after completion of 6 months. until then you should exclusively breastfeed.

The child has to be six months complete only after that you can start giving food and water to the child prior to that whatever feed you are giving to the child has sufficient amount of water into it which is why no extra water is required to be given to the child
