it's always advisable to have foods freshly made and with minimum spice and oil...

Yes You can give light food to the child at delete completely depends on your convenience and your child’s liking but I personally believe that the dinner should be a little more heavier for a child Because that with a tummy is full for a longer time and a child sleeps peacefully after that so other than that if you want you can give light food also
