can I give cow milk to 9 month baby

Milk for babies specially in the initial days of life is very essential,breast milk is ideally the best and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . if your baby is having proper weight gain and urine output then you can consider that the baby is getting satisfied with the milk and there is nothing to worry. formula milk should be given only when suggested by your pediatrician as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age diyrfferent stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age .

Hi You can use cows milk and making some dish if you want to make it for the child but for direct consumption it is not recommended to be given before the age of 12 to 13 months so introduce in the later stage as of now you can go for formula feeding or tone pasteurised milk
