Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. your baby is 1 year 2 months of age we can take covid-19 vaccine At present there is no problem a lactaing mother can take the covid-19 vaccine and continue to breast feed the baby as the government has also given permission for breastfeeding mothers take the vaccine no problem take the vaccine

The department of health and family welfare has recommended it for breastfeeding mothers. But however it is always better to consult your gynecologist itself once as she knows your body's requirements at this stage better. She has known you throughout your pregnancy. It may vary from one person to another. Hence always better to consult her once.
Always take necessary precautions while going for vaccination. Come back and change your clothes and wash your hands thoroughly and then carry the baby. Take care and stay safe.
