Can I give Allegra to my kid he is having cold

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes you can give syrup Allegra 2.5 ml twice a day r 5 days Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

s madaanMom of a 9 yr 10 m old girl3 years agoA. medication is to be given to the baby only under the guidance of the doctor do not give it over the counter to the baby because that could be harmful for the over all health of the baby so better to talk to the doctor
