can I feed my baby if I have cold and fever, he is on breastfed

A. yes, During any “ordinary” illness such as a cold, sore throat, common flu, worms infestation, fever, mastitis, etc. you should continue to breastfeed. breastfeeding should continue without interruption as there is no risk to the baby. If you need to take antibiotics or other medicine, just check with your doctor first. it’s still important to make sure you wash your hands often, avoid coughing or sneezing near your baby
