can I add sugar in oats ,and salt in khichri for weaning purpose of 6_7 month old baby ,, becoz some doctor has recommend not to use salt and sugar in any food items ?? plz give ur advise

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Sugar and salt are not required for babies under 1 year. The truth is, adding salt to baby's food may be dangerous. There can be many risk factors, if we include sugar and salt in infant's diet. Babies have a delicate system and salt may effect their kidneys.
