can a breast feeding mother take vaccination for covid

A. As per latest guidelines, yes, a breastfeeding mother can take Covid vaccine and even keep feeding after that. She might be able to pass antibodies to her baby through breast milk after being vaccinated so as to fight Covid 19. These vaccines such as Covaxin, Covishield and Sputnik V do not contain live virus and so are not going to harm mother or baby in any possible way. But please contact your doctor before booking slot for vaccination.
