breast milk is not sufficient for my baby can i start buffalo milk to my 4th month baby?

A. no not advisablesoMilk for babies specially in the initial days of life is very essential,breast milk is ideally the best and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . if your baby is having proper weight gain and urine output then you can consider that the baby is getting satisfied with the milk and there is nothing to worry. formula milk should be given only when advised by your pediatrician as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age .

A. Hello dear parent! Outside milk can contain certain bacteria that affects your child’s developing digestive system. Therefore, not advisable before one year completion. For the first one year the baby should be either breastfed or formula fed only. Speak to your doctor for further advice
