A. if your little one’s skin feels rough or dry, apply some coconut oil before bath ..and later use Aveeno Baby Lotion , which is super mild, absorbs fast, and keeps the skin baby-soft. it contains natural oatmeal extracts and comes with fragrance free formula.

A. You can check out Johnson's Baby Lotion. It is best. I have been using this for my baby from day one and I really loved using it. It has the goodness of all natural ingredients which keeps their skin soft and smooth for a long time.

A. During winter is frequent bathing can dry out baby's skin and avoid harsh soap. I suggest you to try Johnson's Baby Lotion for body and Johnson's Cream for face this provides 24 hours moisture lock and keeps dryness away. This enriched with coconut oil and also hydrates the baby's skin.

A. For babies with dry skin, it's important to choose a moisturizer that is gentle, hydrating, and safe for their sensitive skin. Here are some of the best types of moisturizers that are commonly recommended for babies with dry skin: 1. Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment Why it's good: Aquaphor is a popular choice for dry skin and is known for its ability to soothe and protect the skin. It forms a protective barrier and helps lock in moisture, making it great for treating dry, chapped, or irritated skin. Key ingredients: Petrolatum (94%), mineral oil, ceresin, and lanolin alcohol. 2. Mustela Stelatopia Emollient Cream Why it's good: This cream is formulated specifically for babies with sensitive or eczema-prone skin. It's made with natural ingredients like sunflower oil distillate, which helps replenish lipids and restore the skin's natural barrier. Key ingredients: Sunflower oil distillate, avocado perseose. 3. Cetaphil Baby Daily Lotion with Calendula Why it's good: Cetaphil is a trusted brand known for gentle skincare. This lotion is enriched with calendula, which helps to soothe and moisturize dry skin. It is free from parabens, mineral oil, and artificial colors. Key ingredients: Calendula, sunflower seed oil. 4. Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Why it's good: Aveeno Baby is a well-known brand for sensitive skin. Its formula is enriched with natural oatmeal to lock in moisture and soothe the skin. It's gentle enough for daily use and is often recommended for dry or eczema-prone skin. Key ingredients: Colloidal oatmeal, dimethicone. 5. Eucerin Baby Eczema Relief Body Cream Why it's good: This cream is designed specifically for babies with eczema and very dry skin. It provides immediate relief and helps restore the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Key ingredients: Colloidal oatmeal, ceramide-3, licorice extract. 6. Burt's Bees Baby Nourishing Lotion Why it's good: This lotion is made from natural ingredients like shea butter and sunflower oil. It's gentle on the skin, hydrating without being greasy, and free from synthetic fragrances and harsh chemicals. Key ingredients: Shea butter, sunflower oil. 7. Vanicream Moisturizing Cream Why it's good: This is a fragrance-free and hypoallergenic moisturizer that is great for babies with sensitive skin. It is ideal for soothing dry, rough patches and provides long-lasting moisture. Key ingredients: Petrolatum, glycerin. Tips for Moisturizing Baby’s Skin: Apply immediately after bathing: Pat your baby's skin dry with a soft towel and apply moisturizer while the skin is still slightly damp to lock in moisture. Use a gentle touch: Avoid rubbing the skin too hard, as baby skin is sensitive. Gently massage the moisturizer in. Keep bath time short and lukewarm: Long, hot baths can dry out your baby’s skin. Use mild, fragrance-free baby soaps. Avoid products with fragrances or harsh chemicals: Always choose products that are free from parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances, as these can irritate sensitive skin. If your baby’s dry skin doesn’t improve or if it leads to more serious conditions like eczema or rashes, consult your pediatrician for further advice.
