Q.

Baby suffering from severe diarrhoea, been five days, initially had vomiting and diarrhoea, after administering anti emitics, vomiting stopped but diarrhoea persists nevertheless. Consulted doctor few times (first prescribed)On meds such as: Bifilac Zerotot paracetamol ORS during the second visit: saccharomyces sporlac zerotot Metronidazole and oflaxcicin ORS still no change in stools, still runny been five days since what should be the concern, what step should I take next please help me out

A. it looks like any infection therefore first you have to stop any type of milk ok as it is not digested during the loose motion time you can give ORS instead of this

A. hello wait till the dosage of the medicine is completed and if no Improvement os seen then it is better to check with your doctor again and it may require for further stool examination and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
