Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear drinking plenty of fluids to replace water and electrolytes lost during bouts of vomiting or diarrhea. taking over-the-counter (OTC) medications, such as loperamide (Imodium) and bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto-Bismol), to help alleviate diarrhea in adults. eating plain foods, such as crackers.
