Q.

Baby had covid 20 days ago. He is now 7months and 25days old. His 6th months vaccine-Flu and typhoid is due. We were about to take it but just then covid happened. MMR vaccine is on 9th month. Now when baby can take all the vaccines? Is there any guidelines of not having vaccin before three months?

A. because of the current pandemic situation due to covid it is advisable to postpone the vaccinations for a few weeks for safety of your child against covid, you can talk to your pediatrician for re scheduling of it but if you have missed any vaccinations in previous time it's not a problem it won't affect the baby, you can get them done now if it is possible for you to follow all the safety protocol while the vaccinations are done. flu vaccine or influenza vaccine are suggested to give partial protectioinn against covid but they are of limited help, complete safety precautions has to be followed for complete protection.
