baby got vaccinated yesterday 16-24 months vaccine from govt service but the vaccine on left thigh it's hard redness big spot after 4/5 hours of vaccination please suggest any solution

she is 16 months old and has the same issue it's totally normal and you don't need to worry.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for gutwo or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry.
Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain.
Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .
