Q.

baby boy IUGR 35+ preterm weight 1.54 kg at birth , lowest at 1.31kg. now baby is 3 months 20 days and weights 4.8kg. past few days his weight gain is slow .. does that happen to normal babies... wanted to know his developmental progress. will he be able to catch up other babies in time?

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year.. so weight is fine. give only breastmilk till completion of six months and start vitamin and multivitamins supplements

A. Hi parent as per your child age his weight is normal so no need to worry about this matter please give plenty of breast feeding to your child when you're child is demanding please give daily massage and sun light exposure
