Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter birth weight is 1.9 kg.. she had IUGR.. her current weight is 5.8kg at 7 month .. she is not gaining weight since 1 month .. what should be her weight at 1 year old..?? and what else can i do to acheive it.. ?

A. i have already talked with dr.. she says that baby will take time.. atleast she is not losing her weight.. thats what my dr said.. !! i want my baby to have proper growth.. 3 times of her birth weight is almost 6 kg.. ?? her current weight is 5.8 kg..

A. See in normal cases the birthweight place a very important role it should be 10 kilograms or three times of the birthweight and since you’re saying the child is not gaining weight as of now I think it may be due to some nutritional deficiency because of the issue that the child has it’s better to consult the paediatrician they will be able to guide you after examining your child
