Q.

Babies with same age of my girl has started talking in their mother tongue but my girl except talking tells everything like the Rhymes and the names of animals fruits and all the stuff which she watches on tv. What could be the reason

A. Why is that speech therapy needed? I have already mentioned that she tells everything what she watches on tv. Alphabets, numbers, and the things which I teach her. The only thing is she doesn't talk in our mother tongue.. Is it gonna cause any problem?

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 2 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech understanding of the commands xgiven by the parents should be present. by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor requirement of sfpeech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor
