at what age toddlers start writing.. my toddler is 2.8 yrs and getting complained that he is not able to draw standing lines independently..

A. At 2 years 8 months, kids are still developing pencil control. Some can draw vertical lines independently, while others need more time. Don’t worry or compare your child. Scribbling, colouring, drawing and play-dough are great ways to build these skills naturally. ❤️

Yeah because a child is not meant to hold the pencil also in this age where you expecting the child to draw standing line or slanting line or whatever lines if you enrol your child school at the age of 18 months or maybe earlier then probably because of regular nagging in the school the child can learn to do it quite an accent but as of now if your child is not doing it there’s no problem with the child you are expectation is high from the child
