#asktoexpert Hi Dr. My baby is 12 months old and few days back he used to do stool vary hard. he did for 15 days. And then suddenly he felt constipation so we gave him MuOUT syrup (dr. reddy). now he is doing stool better than what he was to do. but still he is suffering while doing potty. Everytime he has to force for potty which is unbearable for him.😔😔 Also shivering while doing potty. please suggest what needs to be taken care. thank you in advance. 🙏🙏

A. you can always increase the dosage according to the need of the child. . Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Specially give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water it will help in decreasing constipation and even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool

A. Hi mom Increase the water intake of ur baby and include fiber rich food like Papaya pear plum prunes carrot dalia roti etc in ur baby's diet for easy passing of stool. Apply oil on the potty area for easy passing of stool. Take care
