Diet counselling is also very important .

Give supplements only if prescribed by the doctor as these are given only if any deficiency is there.
Give healthy and nutritious diet including all the food groups like seasonal fruits and vegetables, dairy products like paneer curd cheese, chicken fish egg, pulses, cereals, soup, fresh fruit juice etc as balanced diet so that body gets all the nutrients
