#asktheexperts yesterday meri beti ko vaccine lga hai morning mai ,evening tk usko fever ho gya ,Maine use paracetamol syrup diya hai bt uska fever nhi jaa rha and usko khasi bhi ho gyi hai plz suggest some medicine

A. sir ,,I gave 6 drop of paracetamol. is it ok ??

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic htacid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and most of the time baby fever stay for three to four days after vac and please keep giving baby doctor prescribed medication after six hours and also apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest back and feet. Take care
