#asktheexperts why my baby dont eat food by chewing

A. Dear parent, there can be problem with eating behaviours if baby not introduced to unblended foods from 11 mth onwards. now you avoid grinded foods, instead start with soft foods, like small pieces of chapati dip in Dal rather than blended even if child is eating less amount off unblended food for few days it is alright. child will eat eventually when hungry let child self feed give finger foods, let child mess a little for creating interest in unblended food keep trying and also try to explain that now child has teeth to chew and is a big boy/girl

A. They could be two things either your child child has not learned it or your child is not trying to learn to eat food by chewing it or you are continuously catering semisolid food to the child in the blended form as a child like to eat
