#asktheexperts when we should make baby to sit ? from which month

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer ff but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it canv cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and when baby start handling his or her head properly then we should start sitting baby and in my opinion after the age of 5 months we should start sitting with help of pillows.
