#asktheexperts When should we get the Typhoid vaccine for our child of 6 months?

A. it can be taken between 6 months to 12 months of age typhoid vaccine can be given anytime after completion of 6 months of age of the child. as per the new guidelines you have to give only one dosage for typhoid conjugate vaccine. the other typhoid vaccine is known as typhoid polysaccharide vaccine and it is given after 2 years of age and is repeated every 3 yearly. in the present scenario it is advisable to go for only typhoid conjugate vaccine.
