#asktheexperts weight gain ratio for my baby is low but I always feed him on time till he demands. Do I need to add more fat in my diet so he can gain weight rapidly?

A. Hello! There should be a minimum weight gain of 400 to 500 g per month in the first few months after birth. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for every two hours to ensure proper nutrition, hydration and weight gain. Consult your doctor for further guidance.
