POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due in 1 month3 months agoA. If your baby is making gurgling or bubbling sounds in the throat while feeding, it could be due to a few common reasons:
Milk or formula pooling in the throat or mouth causing slight swallowing difficulties or air mixing. Mild reflux, where a little milk comes back up the throat after swallowing. Normal swallowing sounds as babies are still learning to coordinate sucking, swallowing, and breathing. Nasal congestion making breathing a bit noisy while feeding.
If your baby is feeding well, gaining weight, not coughing excessively, choking, or showing signs of distress, this is usually not a concern.
However, if the sounds are frequent, accompanied by coughing, choking, vomiting, poor weight gain, or breathing difficulties, you should consult your pediatrician to rule out any feeding or swallowing problems.
