POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Most young children with strabismus are diagnosed between the ages of 1 and 4 — and the earlier the better, before connections between the eye and the brain are fully developed. There are a variety of treatments, from patches to glasses to surgery, that can straighten your child's crossed eye and preserve their vision.Sometimes esotropia isn't present from birth. A child's eyes might be fine up to age 3 or 4 years but then suddenly start to cross. If we catch that crossing early and straighten the eyes with surgery within three to six months, the 3D vision starts to work again. After birth, all of a baby's hair stays in the resting phase until more resources become available. Hair usually starts to shed at 8 to 12 weeks of age, and begins to grow back at around 3 to 7 months. But it's not until around 2 years of age that thicker hair emerges.
