Q.

#asktheexperts sir, My wife had delivery on 8th Sept. Can she take covid vaccine now? What if she gets fever after taking vaccine, should she breast feed the baby?

A. yes, she can..Recent guidelines says lactating mothers can also take covid vaccine . Both the vaccines given by the government are completely safe for breastfeeding lactating and pregnant women. if she experience any symptoms like fever, body pains, headaches, joint pains then give paracetamol .

A. thank you for reaching out to us this question yes you can definitely go ahead and dress video baby even when you have fever so the antibodies that your body will produce will get transfer to your baby and will help fight not get any infection so that great however whether you should go ahead with the vaccination is a call the your gynecologist will take keeping in mind the overall scenario
