Q.

#asktheexperts sir my child is 1 month and 10 days old, he is suffering from dermatitis as per our pediatrician there is yellow flaky skin all over his head and forehead area and due to this yellow flaky skin his hair also falling our pediatrician suggested us not to use any oil for massage of baby because baby skin is very sensitive i want second opinion i am attaching photos of infected area

A. Our doctor is right as oil clogs the purée and it will aggravate the problem and keep the scalp clean by giving frequent head baths and you can apply curd and lemon in scalp to clean it rest follow your doctors advice

A. hi use mild cleanser or warm water to clean this part. after bath for no more than 10 minutes ,rinse completely then gently Pat your baby dry moisturise your child skin with fragrance free cream or lotion twice in a day.
