Give your kid all home cooked meals. Some weight gain foods are : whole fat milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, curd, butter, cheese and home made paneer. You can give cheesy mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. Give cheese sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give bananas, avocados, pears and mangoes. Give plain nuts to eat like walnuts, cashew nuts, almonds, peanuts and raisins. Give one boiled egg per day. Give almond milk. Give chickpeas, soy beans and kidney beans.
