#asktheexperts she is just 3.5kgs and of 3 months old today. her birth weight was 2 4kgs. 7 wet diapers. exclusive breastfed.

A. Namaste Mom Monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight. as the baby is quite dependent on mothers feed it would be ideal that you prefer to take a healthy and filling diet ,

A. in this case mostly pediatrician suggest to start formula along with breast feeding. can be given through puladai or spoon . Don't start bottle to avoid nipple confusion later. but consult your pediatrician first.

A. We actually calculate your child is about 400 g behind the expected weight gain because every month minimum 500 g weight gain should be seen and right now if you see your child 400 g less after completing the age of three months so I would suggest you to start giving 1 feet formula and one hour breastfeeding for proper elevation and growth of your child
