#asktheexperts Problems: started with Ear infection - Inflammation and fluid. Infection subsided after 10 days of Amoxicillin but cold and cough always continued and in between fever 100-101 Fahrenheit. Then Klacid Saft was given which subsided the cold and cough and no fever for 8–9 days. Again the cold and cough started and the fluid behind ear drums still exists. Also presence of Polyps have been identified. Currently he is on cortisones for next 4 weeks. If this doesn’t work then surgery

it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem .
they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor .
take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.
