#asktheexperts on the 6th and 10th week vaccination by baby got rotateq vaccine but on the third dose doctor has given rotasure vaccine. it is a matter or concern? or is it ok to change

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and she has received a rota virus vaccinations two different brands but vaccine is same and equally effective too so don’t worry

A. Rotarix and RotaTeq are not interchangeable. Infants who receive a first dose of either vaccine should complete the entire course of vaccination using the same oral rotavirus vaccine.
