#asktheexperts my son is passing stool with black substance. He is on complete formula(nan pro2). Is this normal??

Author of questionGuardian of a 4 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. He had fever 5 days ago and vomited twice. His motion was good then. After fever reducing since two days he has foul smell and black substance in poop.

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known ags gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it couldhy be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
