#asktheexperts my son has cold. can we give nasal drop to him while he sleeps?

A. yes u can give Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be usegd in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. No nasal drops should only be given to the child when your child is awake during sleep time you’re not recommended to give any kind of medication to the child and that’s absolutely incorrect method so I will advise you to go ahead with giving any medicine to the child when your child as a week even if it is nascentWrite Your Answer Here
