Q.

#asktheexperts my newborn (3weeks) doesn’t pass motion daily. Once in 2-3 days. She is a formula fed baby. Is it normal??

A. It's ok if the baby is passing motions every 2-3 days. Just see that you burp the baby well after every feed for atleast 20-25 mins. If the baby is cranky due to gases, better give colicaid / colimex drops.

A. Constipation is Rare in Breastfed Babies Infants older than eight weeks often go 4 or 5 days without a dirty diaper, and it doesn't mean they are constipated. Breastfed babies, especially if they have not started solid foods, can easily go two weeks without a poopy diaper once they are 2-3 months old.
