Q.

#asktheexperts My due date is in January, and I have a big family but my husband and I live separately. Even though I have tried to explain to my in laws that after childbirth both the mother and the baby need space and the baby should not be passed around, they just don’t get it. We have a wedding shortly after my due date February, where every one will gather specially from village. Kindly provide your thoughts on how to take care of new born.

A. Hello my dear parent! I don’t think that it should be an issue for you, especially when there are so many people to take care of your child. In fact, you will have a plenty of resting time. And obviously, for every feeding session, the child is with you, so there will be nocompromise in the baby and mother bonding. Do not overstress yourself into these thoughts and just relax.
