#asktheexperts my daughter's birth weight was 2.950 and now she is 9 month 5 days old then what should be her ideal weight now ? becoz at 7 month she was 7 kg and now she is 7.2 kg is it ok,? and also she is becoming thin day by day ..

The birth weight of the new born triples by the age of one year… so ideally it should be around 9 kg by 1 year so as for that the weight is fine
If the child is active, achieved al the milestones and passing urine 6-7 times a day then no need to worry

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. It Should be approximately 8 to 9 KG as of now if your child is about 10 kgs by completing the age of 12 months that I really going to be very very good as of now if your child is even nine kgs and that’s going to be good enough waiting for the child
