A. OUTSIDE FOOD is started after 6 months of ahe of the child. In COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING start with two rules Rule number 1 is that you have to give the food in the form which the child can swallow Rule number 2 is that always give a new food for for 5 to 6 days to see whether the child is able to digest that food or not as well a as it will help in creating the taste in the child. you can gradually start all types of food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. You have to start initially with less amount and gradually you can increase the amount . Advisable to go for homemade food compared to outside food.

A. The Already has double the birth weight by this age so definitely your child is gaining very well and you can start with semisolid food for the child when your child enters the age of seventh month not in the beginning of the sixth month so still have a long time to wait for it
