A. Dealing with a cranky toddler can be challenging, but here are a few tips: 1. **Check Basic Needs**: Ensure they're not hungry, tired, or uncomfortable. 2. **Establish Routine**: Consistent meal, nap, and bedtime schedules can help. 3. **Provide Comfort**: Offer hugs, cuddles, and reassurance when they're upset. 4. **Engage in Play**: Fun activities can distract and improve their mood. 5. **Offer Choices**: Give them limited choices to empower them and reduce frustration. 6. **Stay Calm**: Your calm demeanor can help soothe them. 7. **Set Limits**: Be firm but gentle with boundaries and discipline. If crankiness persists despite your efforts, consider consulting a pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
